All of Elan's Ripstick series skis utilize Elan's proprietary Amphibio technology which provides its skier easier turn initiation and releases because it has tip and tail rocker on the outside edge.  Now how this differs from other non-Elan skis is that the inside edge is not rockered as much, therefore no power or edge grip is lost sacrificed to the rocker.  The 96mm version is the most versatile and our best seller for men skiers looking for a super fun lightweight mountain exploration vehicle.
