It's a true twin with one exception: it's symmetrical from nose to tail but asymmetrical from edge to edge. We built this sidecut tighter than the toe edge since turns need more energy to originate on your heel edge, so while the board may appear uneven, it actually balances your ride evenly toe-to-heel. The Gamma floats in the deep and keeps its line on hardpack, and it has a positive profile for improved carving control and more pop. The APX version has a quicker, more durable N-9000 base and two carbon stringers on either side of the core for extra pop and reactivity, but it's the Nidactive APX edge technology that truly sets it apart.
