Season Long Ski and Snowboard Rentals

Looking for seasonal ski or snowboard rentals? Visit Aspen Ski and Board early, we do sell out by December some seasons! No reservation or appointment is needed, come when you are available. Rentals are available starting in late August and are due back by April 1st, unless you've made prior arrangements or will be on a ski trip. Premium rentals are available in adult and teen sizes only and feature more comfortable, higher flex boots as well as higher performance skis with style options such as carving skis, all mountain skis and high end twin tips.

All Season Leases are due back on April 1st unless you notify us that you will be on a ski trip. Season Leases returned after June 1st will be charged a late fee. Please note after January 15th we do not provide refunds or credits for season leases that are picked up but not used.

SEASON RENTAL FAQs

Process

Do I need an appointment to get fitted for rentals?

No appointment or reservation needed. Simply come in and one of our staff members will get the process started!

What should I bring with me to get fitted?

Please bring your ski socks—if you don’t have any, we offer a wide selection in-store. For children, be sure to know their height and weight, as we are not permitted to weigh them. Adults and parents must bring a valid driver’s license. Teenagers under 18 may rent without a parent only if they have a valid driver’s license; otherwise, a parent must be present.

How long does fitting usually take?

Fitting time can vary based on how busy the store is and how many people are being fitted, but most customers complete the process, including paperwork, in about 15 to 30 minutes.

When will my equipment be ready to pickup after initial fitting?

When you come in to get fitted for boots, you'll receive a pink copy of your rental form. In the top right corner, you'll find your equipment pickup date. Your full rental package will be ready by that date—no need to call or wait for a notification. You're welcome to pick up your gear on or any time after the date listed.

What is the difference between standard and premium rental equipment?

Our standard rentals are reliable and affordable, but our premium packages offer an upgraded experience for adults and adult-sized teens. Premium ski boots feature higher flex ratings, enhanced liners, and added comfort from top brands like Lange, Dalbello, and Tecnica. Premium skis include higher-end models in categories such as carving, all-mountain, and twin tip—ideal for intermediate to advanced skiers or anyone looking for more performance and customization. What if my child outgrows the equipment mid-season?

Mid season growth spurt? Bring the equipment back in and we can simply swap for a different size no charge.

How do I know what size equipment I need?

When you come in store to get your seasonal rentals, one of staff members will assist you. You will be fitted for boots and ski or snowboard length will be chosen based on your weight, height, age and skier ability.

Do you rent helmets?

We do not rent helmets for safety and hygiene reasons. However, we sell the Giro Bevel adult helmet for $49.95, along with a variety of kids helmets at similar sale prices. Most helmets feature adjustable sizing to accommodate growing children for multiple seasons.
