DotKnit is a performance fabric with double knitting that actively draws moisture away from the skin and transfers it to the outer layer of the garment. The fabric combines moisture-thirsty hydrophilic exterior yarns with water-repellent hydrophobic interior yarns. These strands draw moisture from the skin and transfer it to the outside through strategically placed holes. In severe weather, this active wicking ability helps keep you warm and dry while reducing your risk of hypothermia. More ventilation and perspiration evaporation are also made possible by the textured, double-knit fabric structure.
