Bootfitting Services

Expert Ski and Snowboard Bootfitting at Aspen Ski and Board

At Aspen Ski and Board, we believe a properly fitted boot is the most important part of your ski or snowboard setup. That’s why we include free bootfitting, shell work, and customization for the life of the boot when you buy from us at our Polaris Parkway location and take our expert advice.

Our owner, Gil, founded Aspen Ski and Board after years of struggling to find ski boots that fit his wide feet comfortably. His experience is what drives our passion for bootfitting today, ensuring no skier or snowboarder has to sacrifice comfort for performance.

What We Offer:

🔧 Shell and Liner Molding

We offer full shell and liner molding on most ski and snowboard boots for a fully customized fit, quickly and efficiently. The process involves heating the entire boot in a specialized oven, padding your foot in key areas, then molding the boot directly to your foot. This ensures an anatomical fit and optimal support from the very first day on snow.

In addition to full-form molding, we still provide manual shell punching and grinding for specific pressure points, such as ankle bones or bunions, and we can modify liners by adding or removing padding where needed.

*Boot work is FREE when you purchase your boots from Aspen Ski and Board!*

👣 Footbeds (Drop-In or Custom)

Footbeds are the foundation of any proper bootfit. Whether you choose a drop-in footbed or a fully custom Conformable footbed, they help stabilize the foot, improve comfort, and prevent future fit issues. We always recommend trying footbeds before any boot work, as they often alleviate many common fit issues.

  • Drop-in footbeds – $45 with the purchase of a new boot; ideal for most customers

  • Custom footbeds – $200–$225 per pair; recommended for those needing added support, custom alignment, or with existing foot issues. Or for high performance skiers that need the most tailored fit possible.

🔥 Boot Heaters

Say goodbye to cold feet. We install boot heaters from Hotronic that keep your feet warm without compromising fit or performance. Ideal for all-day comfort in harsh temperatures. We also sell heated socks for warmth inside and outside of your ski boots

Real Customer Testimonials

We came in looking to have a pair of boots fit for my wife that she bought at a big box store. Chris not only let us know they sold the same boot at Aspen Ski and Board, but it was also cheaper than what we paid at the big box store. He suggested other boots for her as well to make sure she was in a boot that would offer performance and comfort. Once he determined the best boot for her, he spent 2 hours with us ensuring she walked out with the perfect fit. Chris’ attention to detail was unmatched. My wife walked out with custom footbeds and perfectly fitting boots for the first time in her life. They also offered peace of mind by standing by their work. Highly recommend visiting for all your skiing needs.

2 years ago we bought a pair of really nice ski boots for my wife from this store. BUT She always had trouble wearing them after a couple runs. Last month we came into the store again, this is where we met Alexis for the first time. She is VERY professional and took a closer look at why the boots did not fit my wife. In a few minutes she made some key adjustments that we knew right away was going to work for my wife. We just got back from our ski trip last week and this was the first time in 2 years that my wife was able to enjoy skiing with the family. THANK YOU ALEXIS!!!! You are the Best!!!!

I’ve been shopping here for over 20 years. On my recent visit, I was interested in new ski boots with custom footbeds. I was lucky to work with Chris who asked all the proper questions. We ended up choosing the perfect sized boots. Chris also custom-molded the boot liners and then made the custom footbeds. I’m extremely happy with the custom ski boot fitting and can’t wait for my next ski trip.

Serious shoutout again to Chris!!!

Our experience was wonderful. Sarah and Ava were able to help get us our skis, boots, bindings, poles, and socks within our budget. Sarah was great at helping me find comfortable boots which was a challenge because of my high arches and small feet. Their customer service made for a great first time experience buying ski equipment.

Maddy

Just got my new boots fitted from Will and Alexis. Will did an awesome job getting me properly fit (as always) and got me in and out without an issue. If you wonder why they’re always busy, it’s because they are the best!!

I have purchased multiple pairs of skis, boots, bindings and clothes from ASB over the years. Hands down the best shop around with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their pre season sale is awesome! I’d highly recommend making this your go to shop in Columbus.
