Expert Ski and Snowboard Bootfitting at Aspen Ski and Board
At Aspen Ski and Board, we believe a properly fitted boot is the most important part of your ski or snowboard setup. That’s why we include free bootfitting, shell work, and customization for the life of the boot when you buy from us at our Polaris Parkway location and take our expert advice.
Our owner, Gil, founded Aspen Ski and Board after years of struggling to find ski boots that fit his wide feet comfortably. His experience is what drives our passion for bootfitting today, ensuring no skier or snowboarder has to sacrifice comfort for performance.
What We Offer:
🔧 Shell and Liner Molding
We offer full shell and liner molding on most ski and snowboard boots for a fully customized fit, quickly and efficiently. The process involves heating the entire boot in a specialized oven, padding your foot in key areas, then molding the boot directly to your foot. This ensures an anatomical fit and optimal support from the very first day on snow.
In addition to full-form molding, we still provide manual shell punching and grinding for specific pressure points, such as ankle bones or bunions, and we can modify liners by adding or removing padding where needed.
*Boot work is FREE when you purchase your boots from Aspen Ski and Board!*
👣 Footbeds (Drop-In or Custom)
Footbeds are the foundation of any proper bootfit. Whether you choose a drop-in footbed or a fully custom Conformable footbed, they help stabilize the foot, improve comfort, and prevent future fit issues. We always recommend trying footbeds before any boot work, as they often alleviate many common fit issues.
-
Drop-in footbeds – $45 with the purchase of a new boot; ideal for most customers
-
Custom footbeds – $200–$225 per pair; recommended for those needing added support, custom alignment, or with existing foot issues. Or for high performance skiers that need the most tailored fit possible.
🔥 Boot Heaters
Say goodbye to cold feet. We install boot heaters from Hotronic that keep your feet warm without compromising fit or performance. Ideal for all-day comfort in harsh temperatures. We also sell heated socks for warmth inside and outside of your ski boots
