Boot Bag

For one pair of ski or snowboard boots, often with a helmet or accessory pocket on top. The smallest and most common bag, perfect for day trips and resort weekends. Most fit boots up to mondopoint 32-34 (US men's 13-14).

Gear / Travel Bag

A larger duffel for boots, helmet, goggles, gloves, and a layer or two. Useful for flying or longer trips where you want everything in one place.

Ski Bag

Long padded bag for skis. Some hold a single pair, some hold two. Padded bags add weight but protect bindings and edges. Most ski bags come in 165 cm, 175 cm, 185 cm, or 195 cm to match common ski lengths.

Snowboard Bag

Padded bag for one or two snowboards. Sized similarly to ski bags. Look for extra padding around the binding area if you travel with bindings mounted.

Roller Bag

Ski or board bag with wheels and a telescoping handle. Worth the cost if you fly often or have a long walk through the airport.

Ski Bags

Pick a bag at least the length of your longest ski. A small amount of extra room (5 to 10 cm) is fine and gives space for tip and tail protectors. Going too long makes the bag harder to handle.

Snowboard Bags

Match the bag length to your board length. A 165 cm board fits in a 170 cm bag with room to spare. Wider freeride or powder boards may also need a wider bag, so check the bag's width spec if your board is over 26 cm at the waist.

Boot Bags

Most boot bags fit any adult ski or snowboard boot. If you wear a mondopoint over 32 or a US men's 14, double-check the bag's max boot size before ordering.

Travel Tip

If you're flying, check your airline's oversized item policy. Most carriers treat a ski or snowboard bag as one checked piece if it's under 70 lbs and within their length limit (usually 115 inches combined length plus girth).
