Description
Few layers earn their keep like the 2025 Patagonia Down Sweater Mens Jacket, a classic that delivers serious warmth without the bulk. Insulated with 800-fill-power 100% Responsible Down Standard down and wrapped in a lightweight, windproof NetPlus shell made from 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop sourced from recycled fishing nets, this men's jacket pairs everyday comfort with a lighter environmental footprint. The PFC-free water-repellent finish sheds light snow, while the whole jacket stuffs into its own interior pocket so you can stash it in a pack until the temperature drops. Wear it on its own around town or layer it under a shell for cold chairlift rides on the mountain — either way, the Down Sweater is the kind of jacket you'll reach for all winter long.
- 800-fill-power Responsible Down Standard certified down for lightweight, lofty warmth
- Windproof NetPlus 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop shell with PFC-free DWR finish
- Stuffs into its own interior zippered chest pocket with a carabiner clip-in loop
- Zippered handwarmer pockets and an interior storm flap behind the front zipper
- Adjustable drawcord hem seals out drafts and locks in heat

Fit Guide & Care
Fit Guide & Care
Fit
Ski and snowboard outerwear is designed to layer over base layers and mid-layers. When sizing, make sure you have enough room to move freely with a mid-layer underneath. Most outerwear runs true to size - check the size chart in the product description. When in doubt, size up for maximum layering room.
Waterproofing & Breathability Ratings
Waterproofing is measured in mm (e.g. 10,000mm - higher is more waterproof). Breathability is measured in g/m² (e.g. 10,000 g/m² - higher is more breathable). For ski club and resort skiing, look for a minimum of 5,000mm waterproofing. Serious all-day riders should aim for 10,000mm+.
Washing Your Outerwear
Always wash with a technical cleaner like Grangers Performance Wash, not regular detergent. Tumble dry on low heat to reactivate the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. Re-apply a spray DWR as needed. Shop tech wash.
