Check out the new 2024 Youth Nidecker Micron Snowboard Boots at Aspen Ski and Board on Polaris Parkway in Northern Columbus!
The Micron Boa works well, feels comfortable, and is simple for autonomous children to put on themselves - an ideal recipe for advancement.Snowboarding can be a frustrating experience for the entire family if a child is in pain or their boots do not fit their bindings properly. That's why we employed the same FlowFitTM technology as in our adult line, which wraps securely around the foot and ensures they'll fit perfectly in our matching Micron Magic bindings. We've also included a ton of cushioning and targeted support, as well as a 3D molded lining with a simple velcro closure. The scaled-down Boa lacing system is also simple to use for small hands, with only one dial to tighten the entire outer shell.
Boot Fitting & Sizing
Boot Fitting & Sizing
Free Snowboard Boot Fitting
Every snowboard boot purchase at Aspen Ski and Board includes a professional fitting by our staff. We'll match your foot shape, riding style, and flex preference to the right boot. Visit us at 1170 E Powell Rd, no appointment needed.
Lace vs BOA vs Speed Lace
Traditional laces give you the most customizable fit. BOA systems are quick, easy, and consistent - great for beginners and riders who want to dial in without fussing. Speed lace (or hybrid systems) split the difference with fast tightening and zoned control. Call us at (614) 848-6600 and we'll help you decide. Boot fitting guide.
Flex Ratings
Snowboard boot flex runs from soft (1-4) to stiff (8-10). Beginners and freestyle riders typically prefer a softer flex (3-5) for comfort and forgiveness. All-mountain and advanced riders often prefer medium to stiff (5-8) for better response and carving precision.
