The Capita Mega Death Wide Mens Snowboard takes the brand's flagship freeride platform and opens up the waist for riders in boot sizes 11 and up. Same Alpine V1 hybrid camber, same Pure MegaCarbon construction, same ultralight chassis that powers the standard Mega Death, with extra width so larger feet can drive turns without heel and toe drag.
Key Features
- Wider waist sized for boot size 11 plus for clean edge to edge drive without overhang on hardpack carves
- Alpine V1 Directional hybrid camber blends mid-body camber, a flat tail, and a reverse cambered nose for stability and float
- Thermopolymer Starship Core with Pure MegaCarbon glass for an ultralight, explosive chassis
- MegaDrive XT high-speed sintered base with factory Moonshot Omni-Tune ready to ride straight out of the bag
- Directional 6.5 flex with Death Grip sidecut for committed edge hold in variable terrain

Snowboard Sizing Guide
Snowboard Sizing Guide
How to Choose a Snowboard Length
A general starting point: stand a board on its tail and it should reach somewhere between your chin and nose. Longer boards are more stable at speed; shorter boards are easier to turn and better for park. Your weight matters more than your height - heavier riders should size up. Call us at (614) 848-6600 and our snowboard staff will help you narrow it down.
Board Shape Explained
All-mountain boards handle groomed runs and some powder. True twin boards are ideal for park and riding switch. Directional boards have a stiffer tail and softer nose for powder and freeride. Ask us which shape fits your style.
