- Lightweight wood core in a durable chassis built for first chair until the lifts close
- Custom engineered shape designed to make early turning and learning experiences as smooth as possible
If your kiddo is still growing, ask us about the Aspen Ski and Board Junior Trade-In Program: bring in last season's gear, trade up to the right size, and keep them on snow without buying a brand new setup every year. Pick up the Capita Micro Mini Kids Snowboard at Aspen Ski and Board on Polaris Parkway in Northern Columbus, Ohio.
Snowboard Sizing Guide
Snowboard Sizing Guide
How to Choose a Snowboard Length
A general starting point: stand a board on its tail and it should reach somewhere between your chin and nose. Longer boards are more stable at speed; shorter boards are easier to turn and better for park. Your weight matters more than your height - heavier riders should size up. Call us at (614) 848-6600 and our snowboard staff will help you narrow it down.
Board Shape Explained
All-mountain boards handle groomed runs and some powder. True twin boards are ideal for park and riding switch. Directional boards have a stiffer tail and softer nose for powder and freeride. Ask us which shape fits your style.
