That's the trade-off for getting a complete ski-and-binding setup at a lower combined price than buying them separately.

For shipped orders, we set the binding position to the Boot Sole Length you provide. DIN release testing is not performed on online orders because it requires the customer's actual boot, in person. We strongly recommend taking the ski to any local ski shop for release testing before your first day, or selecting in-store pickup if you live within driving distance.
