Description

The 2027 Burton Family Tree Time Thief with Step On Genesis Re:Flex bindings is a freestyle leaning setup for riders who treat the whole mountain as a park. The Time Thief is a true twin on a hybrid profile, meaning it mixes camber and rocker in the same board, so you get pop underfoot with a more forgiving feel at the tips.

The Genesis is the most responsive binding in the Step On family, which keeps a playful board from feeling vague. You still get the Time Thief's medium flex, but your input reaches the edge right away when you need it to.

How it rides

  • True twin shape, identical nose and tail, so the board rides the same regular or switch
  • Hybrid profile, a mix of camber and rocker in one board, which keeps pop underfoot while easing turn initiation
  • Medium flex pattern, stiff enough to hold a hard turn and soft enough to stay playful on features
  • Super Fly II core, a wood core that adds pop and strength
  • Family Tree line, Burton's experimental shape program where the more unusual designs get built

The binding pairing

  • Step On boot to binding system, three connection points at two toe and one heel, locking the boot in with no straps to buckle
  • Carbon reinforced chassis, carbon added to the baseplate for the quickest response in the Step On line
  • Re:Flex mounting, which lets the board flex naturally underfoot instead of stiffening under the binding
  • FLAD system, a tool free adjuster for forward lean angle so you can dial the highback to your stance

Step On bindings require Step On compatible boots, sold separately. Burton, Nitro, and DC all make them, so you still have boot fit choice across brands.

Free binding mounting when you pick up in store.

Package Setup & Binding Swaps

Why We Need Your Boot Size:

Snowboard bindings are sized by boot size, but every brand has a different size range. We verify your boot size against the binding included in your package before we ship to make sure it fits. If there's a mismatch we'll contact you before processing.

Online Orders Ship Unmounted:

For online orders we ship the board and bindings together in the box. Bindings are not pre-mounted. Most riders mount them at home with a #3 Phillips screwdriver in about 10 minutes, or take them to any local shop. If you're picking up in store we'll mount them for free.

Want a Different Binding?

Call (614) 848-6600 if you'd like a different binding than what's in this package. We can swap it for any binding of your choosing and you'd just pay the difference if there is one. We take these orders over the phone since we don't edit packages on the website.

Shipping & Returns

Free ground shipping on most orders over $50. 14-day return policy on unused, unridden items in original packaging. Bindings that have been mounted cannot be returned. Full policy.

Phone Orders & In-Store Pricing

In-store pricing on snowboard packages is often lower than our website. Call (614) 848-6600 for the real price, or email aspenskiandboard@gmail.com.
