The 2027 Capita Black Snowboard of Death Wide with Union Source bindings is the freeride setup for riders in boot size 11 and up. It is the same 25 year refined BSOD platform with a wider waist, so bigger boots can drive the edge without the toe or heel hanging over and catching on a hardpack carve.

The Source is the balanced binding in Union's Source line, more forgiving than the Pro or FC versions. On a board that already puts down this much power, a binding you can ride comfortably all day is the sensible pairing.

How it rides

• Wider waist tuned for boot size 11 plus, giving clean edge to edge drive without toe or heel drag
• Alpine V1 Directional hybrid camber, with camber through the middle and a reverse cambered nose, which holds an edge on hardpack while floating through deep snow
• Thermopolymer Hover Core with Fairmat carbon amplifiers, a wood core with carbon strips added for high powered control at speed
• HyperDrive ADV XT sintered base, built tough for hardpack carves and rocky runouts
• Directional 6.5 flex with 0.8 inch setback, meaning the stance sits back from center for committed riding on big mountain terrain

• S10 Halo Duraflex CB baseplate, a composite chassis that balances response against forgiveness
• S18 Source Duraflex highback, tuned more forgiving than the Pro and FC versions for all day comfort

Why We Need Your Boot Size:

Snowboard bindings are sized by boot size, but every brand has a different size range. We verify your boot size against the binding included in your package before we ship to make sure it fits. If there's a mismatch we'll contact you before processing.

Online Orders Ship Unmounted:

For online orders we ship the board and bindings together in the box. Bindings are not pre-mounted. Most riders mount them at home with a #3 Phillips screwdriver in about 10 minutes, or take them to any local shop. If you're picking up in store we'll mount them for free.

Call (614) 848-6600 if you'd like a different binding than what's in this package. We can swap it for any binding of your choosing and you'd just pay the difference if there is one. We take these orders over the phone since we don't edit packages on the website.
