The 2027 Capita Mega Death with Union Source Pro bindings sits at the top of Capita's freeride lineup. The Mega Death is an ultralight directional board inspired by the Black Snowboard of Death, built around Alpine V1 hybrid camber that pairs mid body camber for edge hold with a reverse cambered nose that keeps you floating in deep snow.

The Source Pro is Torstein Horgmo's signature binding, and it is a deliberate pairing on a board this stiff. The redesigned highback keeps a freestyle feel underfoot, so the Mega Death charges without becoming a board you can only point downhill.

Why We Need Your Boot Size:

Snowboard bindings are sized by boot size, but every brand has a different size range. We verify your boot size against the binding included in your package before we ship to make sure it fits. If there's a mismatch we'll contact you before processing.

Online Orders Ship Unmounted:

For online orders we ship the board and bindings together in the box. Bindings are not pre-mounted. Most riders mount them at home with a #3 Phillips screwdriver in about 10 minutes, or take them to any local shop. If you're picking up in store we'll mount them for free.

Call (614) 848-6600 if you'd like a different binding than what's in this package. We can swap it for any binding of your choosing and you'd just pay the difference if there is one. We take these orders over the phone since we don't edit packages on the website.
