About System Skis

The Binding Comes On The Ski

System skis ship with the binding already installed on an integrated rail or plate. The binding is matched to the ski and isn't designed to be removed or swapped for a different model. That's the trade-off for getting a complete ski-and-binding setup at a lower combined price than buying them separately.

Why People Pick Them

Better flex behavior. The plate is engineered to work with this ski's flex pattern, so there's no dead zone under the foot.

Easy boot length adjustment. Most system bindings slide on a rail, so you can fine-tune the mounting position by hand without re-drilling the ski.

Lower price. A system package usually costs 20-30% less than the same ski with a comparable binding mounted aftermarket.

When To Pick A Flat Ski Instead

Want a specific binding model — a particular DIN range, weight, or feature set? Pick a flat ski and the binding you want from our flat ski collection, or grab one of our ski packages that bundle skis, bindings, and poles together at a discount.

DIN Setup & Mounting

In-Store Pickup: Full Setup Included

If you're picking up in store, our backshop adjusts the binding to your boot sole length and performs DIN release testing using your actual boot, free with purchase. This is the standard, safe way to set up a ski binding before its first day on snow.

Online Orders: Adjusted, Not Release-Tested

For shipped orders, we set the binding position to the Boot Sole Length you provide. DIN release testing is not performed on online orders because it requires the customer's actual boot, in person. We strongly recommend taking the ski to any local ski shop for release testing before your first day, or selecting in-store pickup if you live within driving distance. How to find your Boot Sole Length.

Shipping & Returns

Free ground shipping on most orders over $50. 14-day return policy on unused skis in original packaging. Skis that have had the binding repositioned cannot be returned. Full policy.
