FAQs

Q: How is the Taggert AF different from the standard Taggert?

A: Same shell construction, same venting, same fit system. The Asian Fit version uses a rounder shell shape with adjusted internal padding to fit head shapes typically rounder front-to-back. If a standard helmet creates pressure points at your forehead or the back of your skull, the AF version usually fixes that without needing to size up.

Q: Will the Taggert AF pair with non-Asian-Fit goggles?

A: Yes, the brow line is the same as the standard Taggert. It pairs cleanly with any Giro goggle, Asian Fit or standard. Asian Fit is about the helmet shell shape, not the goggle interface.

Helmet Safety & Sizing

How to Measure Your Head

Using a soft tape measure, wrap it around your head about 1 inch above your eyebrows. That measurement in centimeters is your helmet size. Most helmets run in S/M/L/XL with size ranges printed on the box. If you're between sizes, size up and use the fit dial to snug it down.

MIPS Technology

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is a low-friction layer inside the helmet that allows the helmet to rotate slightly on impact, reducing rotational forces on the brain. We recommend MIPS for most skiers and snowboarders - it's especially valuable for kids and those who take big falls.
