Description
Description
The Helly Hansen Lifa Active Crew is a lightweight performance baselayer top built for high-output activity in cold conditions. The Lifa Active construction moves sweat away from skin rapidly and dries quickly, keeping you dry and regulated during intense resort skiing, touring approaches, or any activity where you're generating serious body heat.
Key Features
- Lifa Active synthetic construction is engineered specifically for moisture transport, pulling sweat away from skin faster than natural fibers and drying quickly during active use.
- Oceanbound recycled materials throughout, giving post-consumer plastic a second life as a high-performance technical garment, certified by bluesign.
- Lightweight build sits close to the skin without restricting movement, ideal as the foundation layer for a full ski or touring system.
- Fast-drying fabric means the top recovers quickly between high-output efforts so you don't feel clammy during rest breaks or chairlift rides.
- Versatile enough for resort skiing, ski touring, trail running, and any other cold-weather aerobic activity where moisture management is the priority.
Find the Lifa Active Crew Mens Baselayer at Aspen Ski and Board on Polaris Parkway in Northern Columbus, just 2 miles west of Polaris Mall.
Fit Guide & Care
Fit Guide & Care
Fit
Ski and snowboard outerwear is designed to layer over base layers and mid-layers. When sizing, make sure you have enough room to move freely with a mid-layer underneath. Most outerwear runs true to size - check the size chart in the product description. When in doubt, size up for maximum layering room.
Waterproofing & Breathability Ratings
Waterproofing is measured in mm (e.g. 10,000mm - higher is more waterproof). Breathability is measured in g/m² (e.g. 10,000 g/m² - higher is more breathable). For ski club and resort skiing, look for a minimum of 5,000mm waterproofing. Serious all-day riders should aim for 10,000mm+.
Washing Your Outerwear
Always wash with a technical cleaner like Grangers Performance Wash, not regular detergent. Tumble dry on low heat to reactivate the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. Re-apply a spray DWR as needed. Shop tech wash.
