Description
The Helly Hansen W Nora Short Puffy Jacket is a cropped insulated jacket built for the resort, pairing a versatile shorter cut with Primaloft Black 100g insulation and PFC-free DWR that handles real ski-day conditions. Whether worn as an outer layer on milder days or over a shell for serious cold, it's a practical and polished piece for the women's ski wardrobe.
Key Features
- Primaloft Black 100g synthetic insulation delivers solid warmth in a packable, lightweight build that doesn't add bulk to a layering system.
- PFC-free DWR treatment sheds light snow and moisture off the outer shell, keeping the jacket performing in variable resort conditions.
- Cropped silhouette works as a standalone mid-mountain layer or as a piece that layers cleanly under or over other outerwear depending on conditions.
- YKK two-way zipper allows ventilation adjustments and easy layering without having to fully remove the jacket.
- Clean, streamlined fit designed to move with you on and off the mountain through a full day of skiing.

Fit Guide & Care
Fit Guide & Care
Fit
Ski and snowboard outerwear is designed to layer over base layers and mid-layers. When sizing, make sure you have enough room to move freely with a mid-layer underneath. Most outerwear runs true to size - check the size chart in the product description. When in doubt, size up for maximum layering room.
Waterproofing & Breathability Ratings
Waterproofing is measured in mm (e.g. 10,000mm - higher is more waterproof). Breathability is measured in g/m² (e.g. 10,000 g/m² - higher is more breathable). For ski club and resort skiing, look for a minimum of 5,000mm waterproofing. Serious all-day riders should aim for 10,000mm+.
Washing Your Outerwear
Always wash with a technical cleaner like Grangers Performance Wash, not regular detergent. Tumble dry on low heat to reactivate the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish. Re-apply a spray DWR as needed. Shop tech wash.
