The 2027 Rome Artifact with Volt FASE bindings is a park leaning setup that still handles the rest of the resort. The Artifact is a true twin with a centered stance and hybrid camber, meaning nose and tail match and the profile mixes camber with rocker, so it pops on takeoff and stays stable through landings whichever way you are riding.

The Volt FASE is Rome's accessibly priced fast entry binding. The highback drops back so you can step in rather than sitting down to buckle up, which adds up over a day of park laps.

How it rides

• True twin shape, meaning nose and tail match, so spins, butters, and rails feel natural in either direction
• Hybrid camber profile, mixing camber and rocker in one board, balancing responsive edge hold with forgiving turn initiation
• Premium poplar core with carbon stringers, thin carbon strips in a light wood core, delivering a lively, energetic feel
• Sintered base, a pressed base material that takes wax efficiently and holds speed across changing snow
• Multiple lengths including wide options, spanning a range of rider weights and boot sizes

The binding pairing

• FASE fast entry system, where the highback drops back so you can step in, working with any standard snowboard boot
• AutoBack highback, which closes automatically as you step in rather than needing to be flipped up by hand
• Medium flex chassis, balancing response and forgiveness for everyday all mountain riding
• Cushioned ankle and toe straps, padded to spread pressure for long day comfort

Note that FASE is not fully hands free. The highback closes for you, but you still bend down once to tighten the ankle strap.

Why We Need Your Boot Size:

Snowboard bindings are sized by boot size, but every brand has a different size range. We verify your boot size against the binding included in your package before we ship to make sure it fits. If there's a mismatch we'll contact you before processing.

Online Orders Ship Unmounted:

For online orders we ship the board and bindings together in the box. Bindings are not pre-mounted. Most riders mount them at home with a #3 Phillips screwdriver in about 10 minutes, or take them to any local shop. If you're picking up in store we'll mount them for free.

Call (614) 848-6600 if you'd like a different binding than what's in this package. We can swap it for any binding of your choosing and you'd just pay the difference if there is one. We take these orders over the phone since we don't edit packages on the website.
