The 2027 Rome Hype with Volt FASE bindings is a womens all mountain setup for riders ready to move past groomers. The Hype runs a directional shape with hybrid camber, meaning the contact points lift slightly, so turns start easily while the longer nose helps the board surf rather than dive when you find soft snow.

The Volt FASE is Rome's accessibly priced fast entry binding in its womens version, tuned for lighter rider weights. The highback drops back so you step in instead of sitting down to buckle, which is a real time saver on a busy day.

How it rides

• Hybrid camber profile, mixing camber and rocker in one board, which lifts the contact points for easy turn entry and natural float in soft snow
• Directional shape with a slightly longer nose, meaning the tip runs past the tail, helping the board surf through powder
• Medium flex pattern, matched to lighter rider weights for smooth, controlled riding
• Sintered base, a pressed base material that takes wax efficiently and stays fast across changing snow
• Two lengths, fitting a range of progressing and confident womens riders

The binding pairing

• FASE fast entry system, where the highback drops back so you can step in, working with any standard snowboard boot
• AutoBack highback, which closes automatically as you step in rather than needing to be flipped up by hand
• Womens specific medium flex chassis, matched to lighter rider weights without overpowering
• Cushioned ankle and toe straps, padded to spread pressure for long day comfort

Note that FASE is not fully hands free. The highback closes for you, but you still bend down once to tighten the ankle strap.

Why We Need Your Boot Size:

Snowboard bindings are sized by boot size, but every brand has a different size range. We verify your boot size against the binding included in your package before we ship to make sure it fits. If there's a mismatch we'll contact you before processing.

Online Orders Ship Unmounted:

For online orders we ship the board and bindings together in the box. Bindings are not pre-mounted. Most riders mount them at home with a #3 Phillips screwdriver in about 10 minutes, or take them to any local shop. If you're picking up in store we'll mount them for free.

Call (614) 848-6600 if you'd like a different binding than what's in this package. We can swap it for any binding of your choosing and you'd just pay the difference if there is one. We take these orders over the phone since we don't edit packages on the website.
