The 2027 Rome Service Dog with Volt FASE bindings is a powder setup that still works on a groomer day. The Service Dog uses a tapered directional shape with a setback stance, meaning the tail is narrower and your feet sit back from center, which is the combination that keeps the nose up and floating when the snow is deep.

The Volt FASE is Rome's accessibly priced fast entry binding. On a powder day, not having to sit down and buckle up at the top of every run is worth more than it sounds.

How it rides

• Tapered directional shape with a setback stance, meaning a narrower tail and your feet positioned back from center, which maximizes float in powder
• Hybrid camber profile, mixing camber and rocker in one board, keeping edge hold consistent on groomers and hardpack
• Premium core with carbon reinforcements, which adds liveliness without introducing chatter
• Sintered base, a pressed base material that takes wax efficiently and holds speed across snow types
• Two lengths, fitting a range of rider weights and powder day preferences

The binding pairing

• FASE fast entry system, where the highback drops back so you can step in, working with any standard snowboard boot
• AutoBack highback, which closes automatically as you step in rather than needing to be flipped up by hand
• Medium flex chassis, balancing response and forgiveness for everyday all mountain riding
• Cushioned ankle and toe straps, padded to spread pressure for long day comfort

Note that FASE is not fully hands free. The highback closes for you, but you still bend down once to tighten the ankle strap.

Why We Need Your Boot Size:

Snowboard bindings are sized by boot size, but every brand has a different size range. We verify your boot size against the binding included in your package before we ship to make sure it fits. If there's a mismatch we'll contact you before processing.

Online Orders Ship Unmounted:

For online orders we ship the board and bindings together in the box. Bindings are not pre-mounted. Most riders mount them at home with a #3 Phillips screwdriver in about 10 minutes, or take them to any local shop. If you're picking up in store we'll mount them for free.

Call (614) 848-6600 if you'd like a different binding than what's in this package. We can swap it for any binding of your choosing and you'd just pay the difference if there is one. We take these orders over the phone since we don't edit packages on the website.
