The 2027 Rome Stale Fish with Katana AW FASE Pro bindings is the freestyle side of Stale Sandbech's signature line. Where the Crewzer charges, the Stale Fish is a true twin with a centered stance and hybrid camber, built for a rider blending park laps, side hits, and groomer turns into one run rather than picking a lane.

The Katana AW FASE Pro is the premium binding in Rome's range. It brings more response than a medium flex board strictly needs, which is the point if you are landing jumps and want the board to react the moment you do.

How it rides

• True twin shape with a centered stance, meaning nose and tail match and your feet sit in the middle, keeping switch riding natural and consistent
• Hybrid camber profile, mixing camber and rocker in one board, balancing strong pop with forgiving turn initiation
• Medium flex pattern, staying approachable while still holding a hard turn
• Premium core with carbon stringers, thin carbon strips that add energy and reduce chatter
• Three lengths, fitting a range of rider weights and freestyle preferences

The binding pairing

• Premium aluminum and carbon chassis, delivering top tier edge response for advanced riders
• FASE fast entry system, where the highback drops back so you can step in, working with any standard snowboard boot
• AutoBack highback, which closes automatically as you step in, then adjusts forward lean as you ride
• Cushioned PowerStrap and toe cap, padded to spread pressure across the boot for long session comfort

Note that FASE is not fully hands free. The highback closes for you, but you still bend down once to tighten the ankle strap.

Why We Need Your Boot Size:

Snowboard bindings are sized by boot size, but every brand has a different size range. We verify your boot size against the binding included in your package before we ship to make sure it fits. If there's a mismatch we'll contact you before processing.

Online Orders Ship Unmounted:

For online orders we ship the board and bindings together in the box. Bindings are not pre-mounted. Most riders mount them at home with a #3 Phillips screwdriver in about 10 minutes, or take them to any local shop. If you're picking up in store we'll mount them for free.

Want a Different Binding?

Call (614) 848-6600 if you'd like a different binding than what's in this package. We can swap it for any binding of your choosing and you'd just pay the difference if there is one. We take these orders over the phone since we don't edit packages on the website.
