Rome Viper Mens Snowboard 2027 with Katana AW Fase Bindings Snowboard Package

The 2027 Rome Viper with Katana AW FASE bindings is a stiff all mountain setup for strong riders. The Viper is directional with hybrid camber and a stiff flex, which is a combination built for holding a hard turn at speed rather than for easy cruising.

The Katana AW FASE is Rome's flagship binding with fast entry added. The AsymWrap chassis has the response to match a board this stiff, so nothing in the setup goes soft when you load it up.

How it rides

• Directional shape with a longer nose, meaning the tip runs past the tail, which tracks confidently at speed and floats in soft snow
• Hybrid camber profile, mixing camber and rocker in one board, balancing strong edge hold with forgiving turn initiation
• Stiff flex pattern, rewarding strong riders looking to charge and hold a hard turn
• Premium core construction with carbon stringers, thin carbon strips that reduce chatter through chop
• Three lengths including a wide option, fitting a range of rider weights and boot sizes

The binding pairing

• AsymWrap chassis, a baseplate shaped differently on each side, which provides strong response with enhanced board feel
• FASE fast entry system, where the highback drops back so you can step in, working with any standard snowboard boot
• PivotMount Max, an adjustable strap mounting system that lets you fine tune strap placement for a customized fit
• Durable highback design, balancing control against flexibility on the mountain

Note that FASE is not fully hands free. The highback closes for you, but you still bend down once to tighten the ankle strap.

Why We Need Your Boot Size:

Snowboard bindings are sized by boot size, but every brand has a different size range. We verify your boot size against the binding included in your package before we ship to make sure it fits. If there's a mismatch we'll contact you before processing.

Online Orders Ship Unmounted:

For online orders we ship the board and bindings together in the box. Bindings are not pre-mounted. Most riders mount them at home with a #3 Phillips screwdriver in about 10 minutes, or take them to any local shop. If you're picking up in store we'll mount them for free.

Want a Different Binding?

Call (614) 848-6600 if you'd like a different binding than what's in this package. We can swap it for any binding of your choosing and you'd just pay the difference if there is one. We take these orders over the phone since we don't edit packages on the website.
