Description
The Salomon Sleepwalker Grom is a kids snowboard built for young riders who are starting to develop real style and want a board that can keep up with them. It carries the same Rock Out Camber and True Twin platform as the adult Sleepwalker in a lightweight, youth-specific build that makes it easy to lap the park and work on tricks.
Key Features
- Rock Out Camber provides a stable, flat feel between the bindings with camber near the feet for response and rocker on the tip and tail for pressability and a playful feel
- True Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical forward and switch, supporting kids who are starting to work on switch riding and park skills
- Equalizer RAD sidecut blends straight lines and radial geometry for a turn response that is nimble, fun, and easy to build confidence on
- Lightweight youth-specific construction is manageable without sacrificing the performance features that progressing riders need
- Available in sizes from 127cm to 145cm to cover a wide range of rider sizes and ability levels
Kids grow out of boards faster than they grow out of ambition. Aspen Ski and Board's Junior Trade-In Program helps you stay ahead of it. The Salomon Sleepwalker Grom is available at our shop on Polaris Parkway in Northern Columbus.
Snowboard Sizing Guide
Snowboard Sizing Guide
How to Choose a Snowboard Length
A general starting point: stand a board on its tail and it should reach somewhere between your chin and nose. Longer boards are more stable at speed; shorter boards are easier to turn and better for park. Your weight matters more than your height - heavier riders should size up. Call us at (614) 848-6600 and our snowboard staff will help you narrow it down.
Board Shape Explained
All-mountain boards handle groomed runs and some powder. True twin boards are ideal for park and riding switch. Directional boards have a stiffer tail and softer nose for powder and freeride. Ask us which shape fits your style.
